Recommendation letter.

Mungkin ada Cadet/Perwira yg masih baru sedang mencari contoh surat rekomendasi agar mudah mencari kerja, tinggal copas saja tulisan dibawah dan diisi/diubah sesuai kapasitasnya.

Ceritanya beberapa waktu lalu ada AB dari Filipina yg meminta saya untuk dibuatkan surat rekomendasi.

Dia ini punya Ijazah sesuai STCW 2010 Reg II/1: OOW of Ships GT 500 or more..

Di kapal dia jadi AB dan sekaligus belajar, nah dia skrg udh confident utk jd perwira.

Berikut surat rekomendasi yg saya buat utk dia.

During his tour of duty onboard the MV.... (IMO: 9660243) in the capacity as mentioned above.

He took part and performed duty with satisfactory under supervision of duty Officer for the task as follows:

1. Navigational watch keeping and Collision regulation
2. Cargo handling and stowage
3. Controlling the operation of the ship, maintenance and care for the crew on board.
4. Compliance with pollution prevention as per MARPOL regulation and ISM Code
5. Radio communication and GMDSS.

He is a self-starter, hard worker, detailed oriented and did not require supervision after receiving instructions. His optimistic and friendly personality served him well communicating to the other vessel crew.

Base on the fact above, I strongly recommended that he has been found competence to perform as “Officer in Charge of a Navigation Watch” with capacity and limitation as stated on his certificate.
